About Mister Moss

Mister Moss is a roof moss removal business based in the south of the UK that uses traditional methods such as brushing and scraping rather than power washing.

They are also able to replace broken roof tiles and carry out general roof repairs.

Daniel Weadley is the sole owner of Mister Moss and has a long history in the roofing industry.

Daniel worked as a fascia, soffit, guttering and cladding installer for a local business starting back in 1998.

During the following years, Daniel gained experience in roof repairs to tiled roofs including:

• Replacing broken tiles
• Mortar work, including traditional lime-based mortar
• Roof moss removal and preventative treatments
• Repairs to damaged timbers and underfelt
• Gutter repairs and installation

in 2004 Daniel became self-employed and worked directly for the general public and also for other businesses as a subcontractor.

In 2014 Daniel switched careers and worked as a project manager for a construction company based in London. He also took employment as a digital content creator, with a focus on DIY, home improvement and construction.

In 2024 Daniel returned to roof work and setup the Mister Moss business which specialises in roof moss removal and roof repairs.
